Driving Home the Point
By covering up the new General Motors tactically approves and condones transgressions for it's own financial or other benefit. General Motors, like Penn State, Would Really Rather Cover Up. Penn State had it's Jerry Sandydusky and General Motors had it's Bill Mitchell, Irv Rybicki, Chuck Jordan and who knows who else. The common thread is at both institutions leaders choose to outright ignore and/or cover up criminal transgressions committed under the auspices of both institution. In any event, someone got screwed. These are men that made significant contributions to the institutions so General Motors, like Penn State, Would Really Rather Cover Up.
